2023 Recap

2023 has been such a crazy whirlwind for me and my family. I don’t think I have officially shared it on the blog, but I moved from high school administration world back to elementary as a school principal. Just as I was finding my niche in the high school realm, an opportunity to go back to my elementary roots came open and I went for it! It has been a busy few months, and I know that I still have a while to go before I get my footing in place. My new school family and community is incredible, and I am so grateful for this journey.

 

New Year Freebie

One of things I loved while in the classroom was the ability to be creative and make things that we could use in our classroom. I have been so consumed with learning all the things, that I have not had a chance to just create. Once upon a time, I had a “create” notebook that I used to carry with me everywhere. I could sketch it out ideas and save it for whenever I had a chance to make it. When I found the notebook in my home office during our holiday break; I didn’t realize how much I had missed just jotting down all the little school things I think about and want to do. I started carrying it around again, and this is the first thing I wrote down.

This is something I made for myself and to share with my staff, but I wanted to share it with you as well should it be something you want to use! You could use it for yourself, your colleagues, your students, and/or your own family! It is nothing fancy but maybe it is just the thing needed to help you reflect on the positives of 2023 and set those dreams for 2024. The free download can be found here or by clicking the image.
